Aida Ballmann

Aïda Ballmann, a Canarian actress of German descent, is known for her versatile and international roles. She speaks Spanish, German, and English—skills honed through multidisciplinary training in acting, circus arts, and the arts in general. She is known for her work in series such as Malnombre, Operación Barrio Inglés, Una vida menos en Canarias, Frauds, Endlich Witwer, Crossfire, El tiempo entre costuras, Águila Roja, Lo que escondían sus ojos and Brigada de fenómenos as well as feature films like L´avia i el foraster, Gleich, La metamorfosis de Narciso, Atlánticas, Die Insel, La velocidad de nuestros pensamientos, Los europeos and The Extraordinary Tale. She has won Best Actress awards at Film Bizarro, the Cardiff International Film Festival, Festivalito, and the Leoncio Morales awards, and has received several nominations, including from ASECAN and VIFA.
