Blanca Rodríguez

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, she divides her time between the Canary Islands and Madrid. She has enjoyed a long professional acting career since 1982, having launched it after training in dramatic arts at the William Layton Theatre Laboratory. She has appeared in notable film and television productions such as Karateka, , El Pueblo (playing the lead role of Elisa), Sin Huellas, Vientos de La Habana, La Que Se Avecina, Felices 140 and Tiempo sin Airethereby establishing a solid career in acting. She combines her artistic work with teaching and directing; she directs the Antígona theater group and heads the Theater Department at the Telde School of Music, Dance, and Theater.
